I include this page because parties choosing an arbitrator deserve a sense of the person, not just the CV. Thailand has been my home for more than 23 years; this is some of what fills the time outside work.

Thailand and Phuket

I have spent close to half my life in Thailand and raised my children here. Family road trips have taken my kids and I well beyond the usual destinations, from Chumphon to Phichit, and Phuket Town’s heritage and the Vegetarian Festival remain favourites.

Muay Thai

I am passionate about the training and mental discipline of Muay Thai. Every week is a progressive step in an art that can never be fully mastered by one person.

Padel

A friend introduced me to padel in 2023 and it quickly became a passion. I play at many padel centres in Phuket and when I am travelling too.

Hiking

I have walked jungle trails, waterfalls and coastal paths across Phuket island, often with my son and I also hike when overseas such as Hong Kong.
